HT-3 is a testing tool developed by IGI (Infotech Global Inc.) that is capable of testing transactions for data (generic HIPAA as well as trading partner specific implementation guides), data format, business rules and telecommunications. HT-3 verifies that a company can actually send or receive HIPAA X12n compliant transactions as per the implementation guides from May 2000 and later.
